It was a ‘Day trippin’ day today for work, so tonight’s blog will be short.  One thing that is guaranteed on these round-trip travel days, is lots of walking.  The airport, the customer, the airport, another airport, and then to the parking. 

          By the time I reached my final stop tonight at the Dallas Love Field and still had the walk from the furthest terminal to my car in the back of the lot, I was tired (not to mention the many delays due to weather).  Half-way to the car, while listening to my headphones and those ‘oldies’, Night Fever came on my Pandora channel.

          Suddenly, I felt like John Travolta!  I mean, my step picked up and it was stepping in-time to the beat baby!   If I could have done a few spins, and finger pointing, it would have been perfect…

          It reminded me of my marching band Drum Major days and military days when I was the cadence caller for our company.   Keeping time seemed to help take the mind off the fatigue and focus on the road ahead.  If people only knew that was why I was walking that way!

          Anyway, just a fun time on the way home tonight.  I think I’ll grab something to eat, listen to that song again, and grab the Mrs. and do some dancin’!...
